Last week I put in 7+ miles.
The first 7 were a 2, 3, 2 on the treadmill in the basement. . . the majority of it jogging - whoopee.
It doesn't matter that the + was a walk to the store with the stroller & kids in tow. . . it was hard, dammit, to make it through all the ice and snow buildup on the sidewalks and keep 3 toddlers headed in the same direction. It counts for something . . . be it a + or whatever.
This week, not so much. Ok, so it's only Monday, but I spent the day home sick with the kids. And turns out Lil A woke with a fever and much general puniness, too. Ugh.
So my plan is to put in somewhere between 8 & 10 miles a week until Dec 28 . . .that's when my 24 week training program begins. Hopefully the rest of this week will be brighter!
